Vice President and Presidential candidate Leni Robredo is eyeing to put up a ‘pink museum’ to house all her supporters’ gifts.

Robredo went live on Facebook last Thursday to showcase all the gifts from ‘Kakampinks’, her supporters, throughout the 2022 presidential campaigns.

To house all the gifts, Robredo expressed that her team is planning to build a ‘pink museum’ to store the handmade memorabilias which were all given from her supporters through the huge “pink movement” her candidacy has initiated.

“Ano ‘yung mga dreams ko ngayon? Ang dreams ko talagang magkaroon tayo ng isang lugar where we can display everything you gave us. Kasi part siya ng kwento ng awakening — part siya ng kwento ng awakening na mag-bebenefit iyong maraming kabataan,” said Robredo during her live.

With Robredo distantly following Presidential Candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the presidential race, Robredo expressed that the 2022 campaign season was very special for her.

“Lagi ko po ‘tong sinasabi, despite the seeming results, ito pa din ‘yong pinaka happy na campaign I’ve ever been involved in at dahil ‘yan sa inyo [Kakampinks],” she thanked her supporters.

Robredo also expressed that if there was an achievement in their campaign, it was the ‘awakening’ of Pinoys, realizing and keeping the spirit of being Filipino blazing. For Robredo, the campaign was a testament of the goodness of Filipinos.

Robredo expressed that the fight for a better government continues beyond the elections. “So hindi po natatapos ‘yon sa resulta ng eleksyon. There are bigger battles ahead and sama-sama ulit tayo. Lalo na sa mga advocacies natin in uplifting the lives of the poor and ‘yong quest natin for good governance,” she added.

The gifts are eyed to be displayed in the ‘pink museum’, while some will be auctioned to fund Angat Buhay Projects — an advocacy for Robredo’s campaign to help Pinoys in need.

Robredo says she will also seek permission from those who gave the gifts. The museum is planned to be located in Manila and Naga City, Robredo’s hometown.

During the live, Robredo shared various gifts including purses, paintings, miniature souvenirs from her supporters across the Philippines.

Aside from thanking supporters and volunteers, Robredo also invited supporters on Friday, May 13 at the Ateneo de Manila University for a thanksgiving gathering.
